screening & filtering color

Hey everyone,

as phoca cart has sooo many options to use - i am a little bit in a struggle.
It´s about selling stones
I would like to give predefined colors to the stones (red, yellow, grey...) //NO HEX CODE //
Important for me: in the filtering i would like to filter those colors. Sometimes a stone can also have 2 or 3 colors.

So i started with phoca fields. - The result in product view is superb and the search would work for it. BUT i can´t filter for it.

What would be your solution for that?

Yes, some features can be searched but not filtered, some only filtered, etc. Custom field type can be e.g. image or textarea, so it is hard to filter it generally. Maybe you can try to use tags, labels or parameters so they can be filtered One product can have more tags, labels or paramters too. I think colors should be more filtered than searched

Hi Jan,
yeah! that worked.
I created a Parameter for "color-Groups" and added the Paramter-Values (green, red, blue...) -
After that i went to Filter Module, activated filter for parameter
When i now mark a product in "Publishing Options" with that parameter - it works.
