Hi Everybody,
after searching the forum, i decided to post my trouble here. I have some galleries in my phoca, as it should be. I only want to use the picutres in articles, so I place them in my articles via phoca-gallery-plugin: { phocagallery view=category|categoryid=ID }
Now I want a two categories in one article: one should be with about 10 pictures for everybody, and the other one should be accessible only for registered members (with some more pictures). But both are always shown!
So what I tried:
1.) I set the access to "registered" in the category overview. No effect.
2.) I set the access rights in the category overview. No effect.
I followed the instructions shown here: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... categories
But allways both categories are shown via plugin. I don't know if it's a bug in this plugin or a missing feature. Maybe the plugin can not handle access-rights.
Thanks for your reply.

Re: Problem with Access-Control
Hi,
i don't mean the "normal" component link in the menu. I don't use this. I meant the Plugin for to show galleries in articles. This plugin shows both categories, even the ones for "registered" only. It doesn't care about restrictions at all.
So every normal guest can see the linked category images in the article even if they are only for registered members.
Is this a bug or just "not a feature"

PS: Did I said, that I really like your extensions? If not: I DO SO! They are really cool. I just found your guestbook very usefull.

Re: Problem with Access-Control
Hi, if you have e.g. two categories and one of them is only for registered users and you will display the categories in article then you get both categories: first will be accessible for not registered users and second will have the lock image and will be not accessible for not registered users

Hi Jan,
thank you for your reply. Sorry, but this is not working on my page. All thumbnails are shown. Only the big pictures where not shown.
In my article I included the following code:
But for both categories thumbnails where shown.
What did I do wrong?
Thanks

Re: Problem with Access-Control
Hi, the access is denied only if you will display categories, but if you will display the images direct, then the access will be for every user...

Hi Jan,
thanks for your reply. Could you implement this in one of the next versions? This would be great for displaying images in articles. If the bot would check the access-level.
Thanks a lot
