No menu item for cart

I couldn't find anything in the forum on this so am asking. I have in the past had shopping systems with a menu item so the user can see the cart at any time from a menu. It seems more important to me than a wish list which does exist. Maybe there is a static url I can use? TY

Hi, you can display it with help of module (displaying whole cart, which will be visible on all websites) or you can create a menu link to "checkout" view.

Can I get some guidance to build this it doesn't seem to be in the nature template. TY I tried the module cart but it doesn't look or work like this.
Link to checkout - /component/phocacart/checkout?Itemid=101 this loads home page. So something is broken there (will create another topic).

Also I found myself not able to get to checkout with the following flow:

Add an item to cart
Go to somewhere else
There is now only way to add ANOTHER item to cart

So the user is stranded and can't checkout.

Hi, you need to have menu links to get SEF urls. Check the Phoca Cart documentation and Phoca Cart options, there are different ways how to add items to cart or proceed to checkout. E.g. here the popup is used:
