link disappearing

I haven't used the backend of Joomla to alter products in my Phoca cart since May 2023 so I cannot pin point precisely when this behavior started. I've done several Phoca Cart updates since May including one earlier today so I'm at ver 4.0.9 (updated from 4.0.9).

I created a new product (using an existing product as the template) and altered the description near the bottom and noticed that a link (to a Joomla article) in the new product did not exist (it does in the version it was created from), so I re-created it. When I saved the product it refreshed the page and when I scrolled down to the description the link was gone. Somehow it was stripped out. I would point out that all of my existing products have this link intact - it only appears to be stripped during the process of saving.

I have another site with Phoca Cart so I experimented with that. Got exactly the same response so this is reproducible in that sense.

I tried this with a pristine new product and minimal content except for the link. The same things happens. I tried creating the link via a menu item instead of directly to an article; same result. I verified that this is not Joomla specific behavior by creating a link in a Joomla article; the link remained in the article after saving. I use JCE and that can interfere with some elements during editing but I'm satisfied that JCE isn't the problem. This appears to be confined to the Phoca Cart editor. Any ideas?

That fixed the problem. I assume everyone else with 4.0.9 will have the same problem? Thanks.

Hi, thank you for the info. Yes, update to 4.0.10 will be needed (if 4.0.9 installed).
