I had the same issue with 4.0.10 after update.
All attributes I had like size and color where set to Unpublished after the update. Because I had them also set to required nobody was able to order anything since a required info was missing.
Had to go through each of them and publish each attribute.

I think the plugin is great in some areas in others I feel basics are needed more. So the balance on what is required isn't right. I'm sorry you lost orders.

I am finding this still isn't working for the type field. No field is displayed. Dropdown appears fixed. I actually need a DATE picker. But a text area would be a work around.

I am sorry I needed to add a child element- so this works however can this information come through into the booking email?
Also would be great to remove the (+$0.00) part. Is there an option or how can I modify the core (rather override)
