Send mail depending of payment

This is possible setup PC to Send mail depending of payment?
I see in payment select order status.
I can create new status pending-cash-7day and when setup info custom mail.

Will this be the correct action?

Hi, for now, there is no such option.

For the future, there is option to set custom info view when some payment method will be selected - in info view (view after checkout) so maybe additional description field can be set into payment with content which can be then be displayed inside the email

I think, that your approach is correct. Different order statuses can send different mails. So when your payment trigger custom status, it will send custom mail...
