Duplicate META Title problem

Hi there,
on my site the global SEO settings are set to "not to add page name to site title". I need to use this option because I want to have full control over the SEO Titles on my page. On Phoca Download this seems to be a problem. My optimizing SEO tool is showing me duplicated meta titles for all Phoca Download category sites. Navigation to the category site does not give me the possibility to enter a custom meta title. Is there a workaround I could use to set my own meta title to the category pages?

Hi, it depends on which page this is. But the only way to change this, is to modify the view.html.php of each output, see e.g.:
components/com_phocadownload/views/category/view.html.php
