Allow users to choose delivery date/time slot

I was wondering if there is a shipping plugin or solution for Phoca Cart where customers can choose the delivery days, such as in the next five weekdays, and even select a specific time slot, for example, 9-12, 12-15, 15-18.

HI Jan, I would add this as a feature request. We require the same and it would be nice if the shipping method could have a calendar field and a from / to time field.

Creating different shipping / pickup methods could be very time consuming. In addition it is not very intuitive for the consumer.

Hi, thank you for the info. This seems to be a task for specific shipping plugin which can include calendar, such information can be then stored in order (like it is for different shipping plugins which e.g. store the information about pickup points, etc.)

We also have a client that would let the customer choose what date they want to pick up an order.

A calendar would be nice but it should be manageable somewhere to disable certain days of the week or specific dates for things like the store's opening days and vacations.

If there would be a custom field where a user can choose a date for pickup that would be great. A great addition to this is being able to block days in the week or certain date ranges for the days or holidays that the store is closed.

Feels like it should be in the shipping option since for pickup you would have it, but for delivery it usually is not required.

This thread references fields to show a date picker but how do you add one of these fields to a shipping method? The only thing I see what to link it to are categories.

I've also found the "From Field"
I would love to add a calandar to the Shipping form, but only for specific shipping options. is that possible?

If there is any documentation on how to use it just point me to it, could not find 'shipping' in the docs

Hi, the shipping methods e.g. display a map of their branches, so they even can include some calendar form to add specific date. Phoca Cart is ready to store different information for different shipping plugins. So for this some new specific shipping plugin needs to be created.

What about the existing form field calendar how can that be used? Is there any documentation on that?
