IDnR addon doens't produce pdf's

Hi,

I tried to install the invoice, delivery note, receipt addon

I did this before (succesfully) but this time, I don't get pdf's. I can create shipments, but when I click the pdf-button, I have to wait a very long time and then I get an empty white page (no pdf). I also tried to add php_flag display_errors to my .htaccess file, but still I only get a white screen.

does anyone have a suggestion how I can solve this?

PS I just found out that my hosting provider has safe mode turned on, and doesn't want to turn it off, can this be a possible reason for my problem? and if yes; is there a way to let it work with safe mode on? my hosting provider said it would be possible in php5

Hi, I think there should not be any problem with safe mod on, I have tested it on server with safe mode on without any problem... maybe you get some error but it is not displayed on the site (php error reporting on will help in php.ini settings or see the errors in error log)

on my other host where the extension just works normally, I turned on safe mode and it stopped working, so I'm not quite sure that it has nothing to do with the safe mode...

I can't get to the php.ini because the site is not hosted on my own server but at the server of my hosting provider, I used htaccess to set the error reporting on (as I said before I added php_flag display_errors to it) but I can't find any errors.
which error log do you mean exactly or do I have to have access to the server for this (I only have ?

or did you maybe change something in your version which does work on safe mode?

Hi, as I said I don't care about the safe mode, because all my extensions and addons I test on server which have safe mode enabled, so I hope all the extensions and addons are safe mode independent (maybe ???, maybe I have some function enabled but if you are running Joomla! on your server then all the extensions or addons should be working there becasue they use the Joomla! framework and there are no specific functions regarding safe mode ... I hope )

With error log I mean the error log which produces your server (apache ?). So please check it and let me know (maybe there will be some function which is needed and it is disabled )

if I delete the line

from \administrator\components\com_virtuemart\pdf\phoca.tcpdf.php, it works.

so it seems that some part of the code that produces the image on the pdf's is blocked by the safe mode...

do you know how to solve this?
