Change the currency to US dollars

I downloaded the Phoca cart today and it has the currency set to Euros. I am in the USA but it will not give me the option to change to the Dallor. The Euro is the only option. How can I change the currency?

Hi, sorry, I don't exactly understand what prevent you from editing the currency or adding new one? Do you get some error message when saving USD in administration?

Are you using more currencies or one?

- if more, just add new currency
- if one, just edit the default EUR and change to USD

Even if I format a clean USD category and unpublish Euro altogether, I am still getting the Euro. Yes, both Joomla and browser caches were cleared. The editing Euro trick worked, but why should it?

Because it saves you several work steps and is therefore faster:
-You do not have to define an exchange rate in relation to the first currency (EUR)
-You don't have to declare the second currency (USD) as the first
-You don't have to delete the second currency (EUR)
-etc.

I hope I have understood your question correctly.
