Specific need to pass information to order

Hello,

I would need a bit of a help here. Talking about product page. I needed a very custom product where you can pick a certain date. Its not important why but its simple - I have an input and a JS. When you click on input a small calendar appears, you pick a date and what I need is some way to pass this selected date to the final order... Now I am trying to figure out a way but I wanted to ask - is maybe phoca prepared for something like this? So that I would just pass it as a hidden input to add to cart form and then somehow pushed it to lets say note in order?

Please let me know if you can think of any way. Thank you!

Create attribute (or option, everybody call it different) text field and fill it with your JS with choosen date... You can also hide that field with your css... Your date than will be next to the product everywhere - cart, order sumary, invoice...
