How do I set the directory structure for uploaded photos by year if I create a photo gallery from the front-end?
The main directory is Archive > 2024 > Photo Gallery 1
If I upload photos from the front-end, they are saved to the Archive folder on FTP. This is a big problem, because there are maybe 5000 files in the archive folder, and if I want to delete 2001 in the future, it will be a lot of work.

Re: How to set the directory structure according to years?
Hi, see similar posts in this forum. Phoca Gallery has independent database and filesystem layer. This means that folder is not the same like category, etc. There are many reasons for this (see similar posts).
The frontend is specific upload form, assigned for uploading images by users. So each user has own folder where the images are stored. The frontend upload is not assigned to administrators to upload photos in frontend. Administrators should uplodad images in administration, this is the right place for them. The frontend upload is specific feature for frontend upload by different members/users and has completely different rules than administration upload.
