Description (Long) and Features not displayed in the frontend!

Someone please help as I have been banging my head for days now as: it never happened to me, it is not the default Phoca Cart behavior (right?) and I don't remember ever doing anything special to get the long description displayed when drilling down into a product.

But it is not only the long description, the Features field is also empty in the frontend - it does activate the tab if I write something there, but nothing is displayed.

This is a fresh install of Phoca Cart BTW, on a well established live site.

Relevant info
- Debian 12 server;
- Apache 2.4.62;
- php 8.3.13, tried also with 8.1.30;
- MariaDB 10.11.9;
- Joomla 5.2.0, not many extensions, in fact Phoca Gallery is the only other important one besides Cart
- Phoca Cart 4.0.11 with all the modules installed;
- the option "Display Description (Category, Items View) - Display or hide product description in Category or Items view" is definitely set to "Yes", tried to switch back and forth to no avail.

What am I doing wrong here?

Did you check for testing if the Long Description and Features are displayed in the tabs with the Joomla! standard template Cassiopeia?

One more tip. I see you use Joomla 5.2 and Phoca Cart 4.0.11
Why don't you install Phoca Cart 5.0.0Beta80? Don't be afraid of Beta in the version name.

@Benno Yes, thought I will need to try that - a bit of work, as Cassiopeia is gone, I always delete it. Have to get it back and set it up only on that page - I will do it today I hope. Thanks for getting involved!

@Nidzo I did ran the 4 beta version for quite some time a while back. It left scarred me for life LOL. Also we are developing a payment plugin, and I need a stable version for that. But if nothing works I will probably have to do that. Thanks for the suggestion!

BTW anything we should keep in mind regarding the 5.x version of Phoca Cart in regard to payments plugins, will the old ones work without a lot of work?

@Fakemoth i use NorrNext Stripe plugin for Phoca Cart 5 and it works flawlessly. All their payment plugins are compatible with Joomla 5 and Phoca Cart 5

I contacted them, and almost was ready to commit, but the time constraints and the fact that we pulled it through, made me abandon the collaboration (only for this specific task; I saved their contacts though): it's about a custom plugin for a Romanian payment gateway that a client of mine insisted upon. At first a dev I am working with from time to time didn't succeed, but another friend and also a business contact managed to make it work while I was discussing stuff with the client!

I intend to open source it and make it freely available in order to promote Joomla and Phoca Cart. It will not hinder any other efforts, of course, as something like that has never been done. Not in Romania. So it's a niche.

With Cassiopeia I get the Description (long) text!

If I were you, I would contact the developer of your template with this question: "Why does your template behave differently from the Joomla! standard template Cassiopeia? And how can I (i.e. you) change this wrong behavior so that this template behaves like the Joomla! standard template?"
