NP, though it seems that even though I have the site set to danish, maps still uses english?
Is there somewhere I need to apply the danish language to maps?

Hi,
What exactly is not being translated?
You can also set the language directly in the backend in the map options. However, this has no effect on my test sites, as everything is already displayed in German, if the frontend is set to german, OpenStreetMap Type (Germany) is set, and my german language pack ist installed. Oh yes, and I only use OpenStreetMap maps, so I can't say anything about Google maps:

I already set the backend to da, for danish. But when using the get route, in g-maps the from and get route isn't translated

Hi,
These are the strings:
en-GB.com_phocamaps.ini
Line 351 and 352
Image
Did you translate these two lines?
If yes, this is overwritten somewhere. E.g. by your browser language?

But again, I can't say anything about Google Maps because I don't use it. :idea:

Kind regards,
Benno

According to this screenshot, there is da value for language. Try to use dk country code instead of da.

@Benno
Darn, I lost 40+ lines in my translation, and among them, those :(
(Att: here is updated Danish translation, sins I can't update my first post: https://mega.nz/file/i1okmJCB#wANPmn3jt ... ZEoHzXqD0k
How ever even after I translated them, the lang is still english.
But it's a minor deal, and I can fix it by translating directly in en-GB.

@sulpher
Didn't change the outcome.

Didn't change the outcome.
https://simplelocalize.io/data/locale-code/da-DK/
Country Code (ISO 3166-1): dk
Language Code (ISO 639-1): da

I do not know the required format that should be used in this field for Google Maps. Maybe component's documentation will help.
Maybe it should be something like en-GB. In your case it could be da-DK.
https://localizely.com/locale-code/da-DK/
Also, maybe Google maps counts your browser language (it is an assumption).
