Phoca nature and LXMenu on IE7

Post by Benich »

Hello
Excuse my english, please : i'm french ;-)
I am using Phoca nature on my site. I want to use the module "lxmenu" to replace the "classic" mainmenu
By default, the sub menu off Lxmenu was under the central collum.

I did this modification in the template.css :
#leftcol {
float:left;
width:23%;
overflow:visible; (instead of hidden)
That sold my problem on firefox, opéra and safari.

But whith IE7, when the menu is deployed on the central collun, it was under the texte of the article. :x

Have you an idea, please ?

Thanks à lot

I can't find an answer to my question on the web. I make modification in CSS and HTML, but nothing changed with IE7. (played with relative and absolute position...).

Is anyone had encouter the same problem ?

Do you want more informations about this ?

If anyone have a begining of à solution, i am ready to test :wink:

Thanks !

Hi

LXMenu is an Component and extends the mod_mainmenu. Im also using LXMenu - it is very easy to configure. Everything works fine with Firefox, Safai, Chrome - except IE6+ THe menu is always behind the thumbnails (just the thumbnails itself, not the border divs...). Tried to use z-index in LXMenu.css and phocagallery.css - took out positions:relatives - all the tasks which solved the problem with JA_purity. IE6+ still behind the pic. Is there another possibility. How can I change the Sourcecode for the HTML. BTW LXMenu was origininally for Joomla 1.0 and with a hack and Legacy, it is fine with 1.5, based on Mootools. Someone any idea?
