Table of content

Post by dawauz »

It would be nice if its possible to make a toc within a document.

In case of long documentation, that you can click in de TOC and browse automatically to that chapter in the document.
In most wiki's is that also possible, but there isn't a good wiki for in joomla.
This comes most to it, I love it...

can someone tell me if its possible or someting?

Hi Jan,

I think I didn't explained well at all...

What I need, is a toc in the article. Not a toc for multiple article.
I like to see one long article, where its possible when you click in the toc, that it scrolls automatically to that part.

What at wiki's and sharepoint usual is, when you make a word or phrase in < h1 > < /h1 > It makes a chapter. And when in < h2 > < /h2 > than is that the sub chapter. After that another h1 is a new chapter.

When making the headers, the toc see that and makes a nice menu.

example :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamaha_R1

In the left the toc.

If you can make something like that for standard articles in joomla, you would be very great. Contact me, if you like to make that for me.

We can use it on our intranet, and we are prepared to make a donation to you. Or buy that plugin

Hi, sure it is not problem to do but it will work like standard anchor which you can do in article, see e.g.:

https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ent/24-faq

you have the toc in the article and if you click on some "heading" the site will scroll to the specific part of the article
