Strange problem viewing in IE ??? firefox oke !!

Hello I`m new here

I`m using joomla 1.5 and it`s working great, only 1 little problem.

When I use IE 6 the pop up off the picture will come down at the bottom of my page instead off in the middle, with firefox the background will become nice black and the photo will be shown in the middle thats perfect !

Hi,

1. you can use standard popup box instead of modal box or
2. you can hack modal box css style (modal box is a part of joomla framework)

BUT which version of Joomla 1.5 do you use. I now use stable 1.5 and must not hack the modal box css style...

Thank you for the information, but where do I putt the:
Just add in:

left: 50%;top:50%; ????

In which line do I putt this, the other script no problem....only the black background is still under the site.

I know there will be still two problems with IE6

- transparent background
- the cross image (IE6 doesn't support PNG)

You select:
1. You will not use Modal box but standard Javascript box
2. You will use Modal box but without supporting non-standard browsers

Transparent background works well there.

I also have a problem with the borders of modal box with ie6. Right and bottom borders won't work for some reason.

The modal box works with standard browsers well, e.g. Firefox, Seamonkey, Opera...

How did I get the gallery work... Just used the Phoca Gallery (set 200x200 for thumbnails ), see:

Is there some hack how to get the background opacity work with IE6 or should it work with standard Phoca Gallery installation?

I can't get it to work and i tried to solve this problem whole day yesterday. No luck...

The modal box is not a part of Phoca Gallery but of Joomla framework... You can use standard javascript popup window if you want, your site will be support old non-standard browsers
