Initiate Slideshow from Link

Hello. Joomla 1.5.9, Phoca gallery 2.2.4, also latest Phoca Slideshow and Gallery Plugin. Using the Phoca Slideshow, I'm able to initiate a slideshow from a link on a page by building an article (with pgslideshow) and hidden menu. Works great. However, I'd like the slideshow to be like the slideshow in the gallery. Navigation controls, overlib descriptions, links, etc. Is it possible to do that with Phoca Slideshow? From what I've seen it does not seem possible. So taking the opposite approach, is it possible to have the Phoca Gallery slideshow work without having thumbnails, etc showing? So in effect, linking to a gallery slideshow in Phoca Gallery component from an article or menu link?

Hi there is no such option, but I think this can be customized, as the slideshow which is displayed in detail window (popup) will be added as some new "view" into the component.

Are you saying I can do this now or is this a new feature you will be adding to the product at some future date? Timeframe?

Just following up on this one. I had asked about being able to initiate the full Phoca Gallery Slideshow (that includes overlib, controls, etc). You had indicated:

I had asked what you meant by "this can be customized". How would I set this up or is it a custom programming request?

Hi, customized means, someone who understand php can do it (so he will change the current code for your needs)
