Article title shows up on tab in IE7 (SOLVED)

Post by jamapumo »

Hi All,

Just a regular Joomla question.

I just made a website using Joomla and *NO* knowledge of websitebuilding.
I thought I set everything okay but when I browse through the menu's and articles on my website, the article name is shown in the tab in IE7 (take a look at http://www.dctunnel.nl, don't bother to read things because it's in Dutch ;-) )

I set everything to HIDE and even when I change an article which exists to NOT SHOW title, it appears in the TAB of IE7

Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks in advance,

Jack lamers

Hi,

isn't it smarter to go to the dutch joomlacommunities for general joomla! questions?

Finally I figured it out myself...

It's a function inside Joomla itself.

Click on the Menu-Item to change, select Parameters-System and type the required Pagetitle.

Instead of the articlename, the new pagetitle will show up on the tab.

Greetings,
