Download new Phoca Gallery, version 1.5.8 and you can select columns in categories view...

Nice with the columns now. I just want to do it self and than i see the update ^^

But last wish for that. Can you add a param where we can choose the position of the categorie name? Because the name on the right side of the categorie picture in a column view is not beautifull.....

It would look nicer when the name is on the bottom of the picture

Yes it can, I add it to feature request list... I now must solve the problem with 500 and then I take a look at it but the problem is how to add long categories into a small box... ???

I think mouse hover is a good idea for that.

No with a name like that by the pictures with the "..."

So you have a Cat with the name "holiday in Australia" so it is "holiday..." and with mousehover came the full name.

Thats a possibility.

That you can eventually combine with a function that vary the fontsize so a long name have font size 10 and a short font size 12 or so.

Third possibility is that you set a width for the text field, so the text can break in a new line when it is too long, but that must be combined with a lettercounting function so long words will be put in 2 parts.......

Hi Jan,

thank you again for this well done Job. I make some experiements and so I created a new template. Maybe you will publish? I call it template "Grey".

The only think what I miss now is a small button or link from the image side back to the category side.
How we can implement this?
