default new site url

Is it possible to set a default new site url for all redirects, e.g. the home page of the site?

I run a number of directories that I am upgrading to Joomla 1.5 and this results in tons of 404 errors and I want all these to be redirected to the home pages without having to edit each referral individually.

Hi, it depends on you, you can set to all obsolete site the only one new, but you need to set it for all specially.

Maybe customizing the script will be better.

It seems that English is not your first language so I will try to repeat what you are saying: It is not possible to create a default redirect.

This is what I am looking for as well. If it is possible to create a default 404, please tell us exactly what we need to do.

If not, just say "not possible" so I can continue my search for other plugins.

Because then it doesn't make any sense, it only cofuses all the visitors if all links will be redirect to one site
