images are all broken with 1.6.0

Hi,

I am new. I first tried to make it work with your 1.5.8 version and i failed.

Now i am trying to make it work with your latest version 1.6.0 and it fails to creat thumbnails. all of my thumbnails and uploaded pictures are broken.

i have already set the permission to 777

what should i do?

What is the error message you are getting????

What size are you images??

Are there any non-image files in your uploaded picture folders???

during the past two hours i am trying to configure this and it fails woth lots of options, i think there is a very long road before this could be stable with joomla 1.5

for example i am now in phoca galleries and i am trying to delete a category from the admin menu and it keeps failing and doesnt delete the category?!

Hi, first of all, you must set your language in your Joomla! 1.5 to get the translated messages...

WARNNOTREMOVEDRECORDS PHOCA GALLERY=Category(s): %s cannot be removed as they contain Items. There may currently be Images within the Category which you must delete first.

It only means, you cannot delete the category which contains images. If you want to delete it, you must remove the images first... Nothing to be crazy of this message...
