Hi Jan,

is it possible to start the slideshow directly when clicking on the category link? I think it would be more useful for my site to go directly to the slideshow of each category.

No, but you can experiment, just copy the link to detail view, add to this link the part of 'play' link and maybe you get the slideshow ???

Hi, I am trying. it will only work with new window... e.g. you copy the link when you goes with mouse over the image:

http://localhost/J151/index.php?option= ... eryd&catid
=24:abc&id=992:im000395&tmpl=component


and you click: Menus - Main Menu - New - External link - you paste the link into the form link field and you select:
OnClick - new window

ok - got it! Thanks for your effort. What a pitty that it only works with a new window, the pretty transparent window is so nice!

Yes, the same as with the image, you go into detail window:

then you copy the link when you goes with mouse over the play button...

You cannot get the light box (modal box) because you must define the REL attribute... and there is no possibility to add it in menu link in Joomla!
