Everytime I try to create a gallery, it fails to create thumbnails

First, your Joomla! doesn't translate the strings, so you don't get the full error messages...

Error you got, is that Phoca Gallery cannot create a folder for thumbnails, so you doesn't have permissions for creating a folder... Try to change the permissions of your folder (which you have uploaded with images, try to set it to 755, if it doesn't work try 777 and then you can create the thumbnails again...

??, there is no other way but you can change it after creating thumbnails back
