Images in Header/Footer?

Hi there! Want to confirm - I can only add text to a header or footer? IOW, I can NOT add an image tag:

<img src='myWebsite.com/images/myLogo.jpg'>

Thanks Jan. I suspect something is wrong with our template or article HTML that it is preventing us from adding graphics to the header. A basic test article with a built-in template did work, although we still needed to manually override the default pdf functionality (as per the post about SEO interference). So not sure what about our server is weird that the install doesn't automatically take over. But will investigate adding header images further.
Would also second the request to allow both graphics and custom text in the header AND still have the article title appear as well.
