IE not loading gallery in pop up

My random image gallery, when clicked on in Firefox, looks fabulous. The Ajax window opens and sizing is good, etc.

Unfortunately in IE7 it opens in the current window full screen size - no Ajax window. It's functional and I'm not getting any errors.

Hi, try to check all your extensions, or try to use it with some standard template (for testing) so you will find, if there is no conflict with other extension or in the template.

I'm using a standard template (rhuk_milkyway).

Since it works fine in Firefox and Chrome but not in IE7 I'm guessing this is strictly an IE/mootools issue and I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Yes, but mostly it is caused by some settings of other extension, so other extensions need to be checked. As the standard modal box should normally work with rhuk_milkyway and Phoca Gallery uses the modal box libraries which are loaded by Joomla! (but maybe some other extension loads other)
