Hi, you can install the helvetica font. It means if you will set this font "helvetica" for all your parts (content, header, footer), then the font will be not included, see demo:
https://www.phoca.cz/demo/phocapdf-demo Here (click on pdf icon) the font is not included and the size of the pdf is small. But be aware, then the displaying of characters depends on user's OS.
