Hi Jan
I found the solution for this problem, using Firebug (a Firefox extension).
The bug happens when a category name has characters like '
Probably they are not correctly escaped, thus generating an erron in the javascript code. I removed those characters from category name and now the modules displays fine.
Probably you can easily fix the code to adjust escaping.
Bye

BTW - please update your phoca random image module to version 1.5.7... because of red background color... It will be removed after upgrading to 1.5.7

Re: No tree shown
Hi Jan,
I had a perfect working tree module until today. it disappeared. Only the header was left. I re-installed the module but nothing changed. I use Joomla 1.5.3 | Treemodule 1.8.0 beta
http://www.wintertriathlon.net (or http://www.wintertriathlon.net/index.php/fotos) The treemodule should appear in the left column (only on the photopage). I don't have any categories with -'- in the title and I don't recall i changed something in the last days that could be influencing this module

Re: No tree shown
I've used the previous version (gallery + slideshow) together with the random img module
and the gallery tree module, and everything worked fine.
now that I've upgraded, because I wanted the google maps feature (buggy too btw) the tree
doesn't function any more.
I've changed templates, put the module from left to right, uninstalled - redownloaded - and reinstalled the module, all without effect.
my sourcecode has no 'dtree' or any other javascript mentioned above...
I've inserted my google-code into the global params and set up my 'externsteine -> sommersonnenwende 2002' gallery, If you click onto 'Geotagging' it opens another gallery (!) instead of displaying the google map.
Some of the galleries displayed in the google-maps-box end up with 404, that's because it redirects to galleries that require a login to be seen.
So, you've got some serious bugs mate. Hope I can uninstall and reinstall the older version without loosing all my DB entries... (made a sql dump just in case...)
but I'd rather use the new feature (without bugs)
btw, you might change this thread back to 'Unsolved'
#EDIT : forgot my url : http://www.exilschotte.net
btw, removed all my ' out of the categories, without effect.
but I've got plenty of ä,ö,ü,ß,& and á ... and at least the ä,ö,ü I don't wanna change!
and the gallery tree module, and everything worked fine.
