Virtuemart TCPDF greek chars error

hi,
i have succesfully installed these:
VirtueMart 1.1.0 - Invoice, Delivery Note, Receipt
VirtueMart 1.1.0 - Sending Invoice, Delivery Note, Receipt via Email

When i use english characters is workign fine and it exports succesfully the pdf's.
But withe the greek chars, utf-8, i get this messege: TCPDF error: Could not include font definition file ή TCPDF error: Some data has already been output, can't send PDF file.

If i install the Phoca PDF mayble i will find a solution to this problem?

Hi, TCPDF should work with UTF-8 strings (I have tested only Czech and German diacritics like ěščřžýáíé öäëß euro, etc. but maybe greek characters need to have some specific font installed Did you search the tcpdf forum for some information about greek characters?

yes, i have reached not only in this forum, but all over the internet before posting here!
I need to find a solution about that, i have already tested diferent fonts without result..

I think, there are two possible options for searching

a) it is a font issue (font misses greek characters) - try to see dejavu, it is large and can contain a lot of characters, maybe some specific greek font needs to be converted
b) it is a utf-8 issue (some settings in tcpdf can be wrong set or there is no feature to print the greek characters)

with this phoca compoment for pdf, can greek chars be exported - printed to pdf for virtuemart inovences?

Hi, the addon don't use Phoca PDF, it uses standard tcpdf library which is used in Joomla! so I have no experiences with greek characters but maybe there should not be problem with them. It depends on the font which is included for your greek language in your Joomla!

so this compoment cant help me with the problem i have with the pdf export at virtuemart.
