I have the module installed and have it set to show only on the home page. Instead, it is showing on the home page and the pages that show all the images within a particular phoca gallery. So then I have a module of images above the component displaying some of the same images.
The module version is 2.6.0 and the component is 2.6.1
To make things weirder - it works fine if the photo gallery is a main menu item, but has this problem if it is a submenu item on the main menu.
The page where the image module is showing up unwanted is
/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=1:temple-hillel&Itemid=1
Where it works correctly (as a main menu item), the URL is
/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=1:temple-hillel&Itemid=139

Hi, check if menu link Itemid=1 is not selected in your module settings.

Re: Module showing on wrong page
I'm looking at the module settings, and I don't see where the menu link itemid would be set. What am I missing?

Hi,
in the multiple select box where you can choose on which pages to show the module.
it doesn't show the ID but the name (title) of the corresponding menu-link.
