Setting display order of images

Just to let you know I installed the beta plugin, and I can now get the images in the order I need them. However, in order to do that I had to set the order for the OPPOSITE of the ordering in the category.

I wanted it to be in ASC order, the same as the ordering in the category, but when I used "imageordering=1" it came out backwards. Using "imageordering=2" produced the results I was looking for.

Still, this works for me, and when you click on the first image (a "Before" shot), it now properly takes you to the next shot (an "After" image).

Don't know if this is just me or if this is a bug but I thought I'd let you know. Thanks for adding this feature!

Well, it *should* be, but it isn't.

Unless I am misunderstanding something.... When I think of "ordering" I think of the order that images appear in the list within a category - this is the behavior as defined for 99% of lists in Joomla. So Ordering ASC, would be the same as the order the images appear in the list. Ordering DESC would, to me anyway, mean the OPPOSITE of the original list order.

Am I getting this wrong, or do we have different ideas of what "ordering" is?

Hi, only ASD or DESC is not all, you need to set which parameter will be taken.

E.g. order by ORDERING (DESC, ASC), order by TITLE (ASC - a,b,c, DESC - c,b,a)

Hi all,

I'm new to this component and am trying to display my images according to the order I specify on my image list.

I am using the following code:

{pgslideshow id=2|width=775|height=300|delay=2000|image=O|imageordering=1}

I am using 2.6.1 with the latest slideshow plugin2.6.0.

Jan mentioned above that you need to specify what to order by, perhaps I'm missing an instruction?

Hi, try to upgrade to 2.6.2 version, I have make some changes there, so this should work ok now.
