Create and display categories without images

is it possible to create categories and subcategories without any images but display them if the user select the galerie?

You can see empty categories in categories tree but empty category will be not displayed in category view....

the menu entry points to 'category list layout'.
I've created a category 'Galerie' with some subcategories but in the content area I can only see the description of the category but no subcategories.

If you create a link to an empty category, you should get:

'There is no image in this category' and if you have some subcategories, you should get the folder icons of these subcategories...


If you create a link to categories list, where some of category is empty, you must enable the Parameter 'Display empty categories' in parameters component of this link and the empty categories will be displayed in categories list...

No, no folder icons are visible.

There is no parameter 'Display empty categories' anywhere.

What version do you use?
I'm using version v1.3.5 beta
