Installation PhocaGallery

I've some problem with phocaGallery installation. I work with Joomla 1.5.15 i try to install "com_phocagallery_v2.6.2.zip" but after i browse my computer and i choose the zip file and i press "install" button the system doesn't show me button INSTALL" and button "Upgrade". The Joomla page is completely white !
Please help me, i'm new joomla user and i try to read as much post as possible in this forum and in joomla forum but i didn't found this special case.

Imade a new test, i change language prom italian ti english. I enable php error report in my php.ini
with Set the following lines:

error_reporting = E_ALL
display_errors = On

then i reinstall phocagallery package and in a black page i read this message :
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\joomlaita\libraries\domit\xml_domit_lite_parser.php on line 1082

any ideas ?

The easiest of the solutions is to increase "maximum_execution_time" in php.ini file from 30 to atleast 200
