Translation and centering

Post by peterspie »

Hi All, and especially Jan,

I like the module, and I have two minor issues.
1) The translation to dutch is working fine, if you use the menu-item to phoca maps. In this case all the translations to dutch are ok.
If you use the link {phocamaps view=map|id=1} in an article the translation is almost ok. There is one minor thing, the "From Address:" is not translated, and the "Get Route" is not translated. If you use the link in "article-mode" the translations are ok. I have looked in the language module, and the translations are there.
Maybe someone can help with this.

2) Is there a way of centering the map, in the "article mode"?
When I use "<div style="text-align: center;">{phocamaps view=map|id=1}</div>", IE is ok, but FF shows only the from address and the search button centered, while the map is still showing on the left side of the article.

Hoplefully somebody can help me with this.

Greetings Peter

Hi,

1) did you check the translation in plugin not in the component? (language\en-GB\en-GB.plg_content_phocamaps.ini - > nl)

2) if you want to center the plugin, you need to change your article html code, mostly center does not work for centering blogs, see the centering methods in css, e.g. you need to set fixed width for the block and set margin: 0 auto, etc.

Hi Jan (or anyone who is reading this :) )

I am still having the problem with the translation, and I did some searching on the forum. This here is the same problem I'm having : viewtopic.php?f=38&t=5535

Do you know if there is a solution for this?
