Description under thumbs

What I want is the following, see image:



Hope this is possible. I checked the parameters and it looks like it is. Problem is that when I add a description it doesn't show up I can make it sort of show up in the lightbox, but not with the thumb.

Hi Jan,

I know it is possible, I have seen it. But I do exactly as you say and in the help is showed. It just won't show the description I have wrote with a few images.

I am using the following code using the button plugin.

Hi, the:

"displaydescription=1"

means, the popup will be larger to see the description, but the description must be enabled in component parameters.

As plugin cannot manage the description itself, it send to the component information about the window size, because detail window size is managed by link in plugin - but the description is managed by component.

Hi, check if the link to the detail window includes an itemid parameter. If yes then this is an ID of menu link where you should check the settings, see:

Hey.. I have played around a little bit, and it seems that the thing I want is not possible. I can link the menu-item to a phoca photogallery and then it shows the description. What I want is an artice in which I can add pictures using the plugin. This way I can write text and show pictures.

Maybe it is better to understand if you see it. http://www.qualityfloors.nl/beta1/index ... 3&Itemid=3 below these pictures I want a description. Is that possible?

Hi, article links try to take the itemid from the menu link, so try to create one menu link to gallery (which you can hide with unpublishing menu group - see the article for more info) and then the article link shold get the right link with right settings.
