If you want to help with implementing this feature, please describe what all should tag system do, where should tags be displayed, etc. so I get information to know if this is possible or not or which way should I select.

I have been thinking about creating a plugin to enable tagging but it´s only thoughts so far

.. would that be possible? Any tips?

Hi, in 2.6.2 there are new columns - meta keywords, meta description, so these columns can be used for tagging.

Hi, it is still the same -the fields for meta data are there but the tagging needs to be customized
