Can we show directions as on google maps? Your component is great, but im sorry to say that the documentation is lacking a lot of basic information for newbies like me.
What I pretend is to use your component to show some city guides, walking directions for cities.

So for what I read the best option is too use kml files... ok so I make my map in google maps, save it as kml.
Where do I upload the kml file? cause theres no info here, I just see a folder named phocamapskml in the FTP so I guess is there.
So now in control panel phocamaps I create my new map and I see a textbox for kml.. so i add:
http://www.mywebsite.com/public/phocama ... mlfile.kml
In an article I add the code {phocamaps view=map|id=1} and the map appears... but without markers or anything, do I have to add more lines to the code? is it not loading the kml file?
I know I can add markers via your component and that works.. but it wont show the blue direction line or the exact place with the info.
Reading the documentation confuses me even more cause for the kml file it says you have to create a link to menu which I have tried already... so cant it be added on a single article without having to create a menu for a map?
