Size of thumbnails in 1.6.8

Hi there,

I have a big problem with version 1.6.8 and the option "Image size next to the category name": The option seems not to work. Whatever I select - I always get small thumbnails with shadows. I would prefer the medium ones, but can't activate them. A thumbnail-file for medium-size exists (I have found thumbnails for all sizes) but only the small one's are used.

Where did you change it? in default settings or in parameters component?

First I changed it in the parameters of the component. When this hadn't worked I tried it in the default setting - and it didn't work either

??? It works for me on my sites (xp, suse, freebsd), so I cannot say what is wrong

I have done a work-around for me by adding a the line

$image_categories_size = 5;

in the function display

in the file com_phocagallery/views/categories/view.html.php.

This works as a "fix-coded" work-around for me, because I don't need the other thumbnail sizes. Couldn't help myself in an other way...

I have same problem, and the option"number of columns" doesn't work either.
