Password protect galleries

Is it possible to protect a single gallery with password?

Will Phoca Gallery add this feature later?

Hi, you can create a fictive user and create the category with permissions for this user. It means, only this user can see the category (album). Then you can send passwords to everyone who can see the album.

This sounds like a fudge that might work, but the trouble is after logging in is it possible to redirect them to this gallery?

(ie send them a link to the gallery, redirects to joomla login and if they enter correct it'll link to the gallery)

Seems to current redirect back to the joomla site homepage which is a little useless...

Hi, if you link to Phoca Gallery, and there is a login and user is logged it, he/she then is redirected to the gallery back. Try to see if there are no specific plugins on your site which prevents from this. As default the login goes back to the gallery.
