Using image with transparency

I'm wondering if it's possible and/or what format I need to use in order to use images successfully with transparency with Phoca Favicon. When I create a favicon using a GIF or PNG image (that contains transparency) it doesn't appear properly in the Internet Explorer 7 tab. In the end I've had to use a square image with no rounded corners to look nice, but if I use a rounded image that contains transparency around the edges, Favicon doesn't appear to create it with transparency intact.

Any ideas? Help please...

Hi there, what I am hoping for is a circle, with a transparent background creating the circle look. I get the circle, but it's surrounded by a black square background. Is this the same problem as in this thread?? Hope not! How can I get a circle, and if it's a transparency problem, will this be fixed/supported very soon, big please!

Hi, the transparency is not supported yet. I have done some tests and this had some problems. So still testing it

I am waiting for this too. So I had to uninstall the plugin until it works the way it should (with transparency)

Hi, the problem is creating the transparency with GD on the server.

the phpbb is not implemented to Joomla! here.
