Error Saving Filename

That seems to be the problem. I uninstalled and installed phocagallery 1.6.8 just to test if it was the version. Same problem. Images added to sub folders are now having the thumbs created when I open the "image" button and the popup explorer opens and I select one of the sub folders. I do have to change the permissions for the sub folder to 777 in order for the thumbs to be created.

Where is the file name placed when created? In the data base?

Interesting side note. When I use the editor to create a description, is I use the "image" button at the bottom (pops up the explorer screen) phocagalley is not displayed in the folder tree.

I am having the same problem. Downloaded today 1.7.1 beta
using Joomla 1.5.2 PHP 5.0
Trying to create a gallery and "Error saving filename" message.
Other plugins using GD library working fine.

Phoca Gallery returns this message only in case, it cannot write into the database But why???
