Phoca Gallery Layout Categorylist with Start-Category

Is it possible to open a categorylist with a fixed start-category?
I couldn't find any settings in the preferences for this.
If not, maybe it will come in a future release.

Hi, I don't understand:

a) open only one category (e.g. start category) - you can use category list view where only one category is displayed and you can have subcategories for this category ...
b) open the category list where some category will be on the first place - just use the ordering

I know, but ist it possible to get a category list which opens a category (start categroy)? Because in a single category view, there is no back button to show the whole list.

My problem:
I want to show a start picture (start category), which is shown the first time a visitor starts the gallery. Afterwards he should take the back button to see the whole categories.

You can enable the back button to whole list (In Parameters component)

Your site: it will not work, because in Joomla! there is an Itemid and every menu link has own Itemid, so it cannot be displayed the back button from category view to categories views because of two different Itemid (unique menu link number)
