Hello,
I've installed Phoca maps component and plugin (which is active) on my website. I then created a map, published it, and pasted the code {phocamaps view=map|id=1} and {phocamaps view=link|id=1|text=Map} into the article.
When I go and see the article in the site, no map shows up... The square where the map should be is there, but empty, and the link pops up an empty window....
Does anyone have any idea on why is this happening? It's a "fresh" instalation of Joomla, and there are only two components installed: Joomfish and Phocamaps.
You can check the page at:
http://www.rangeroverpt.com/marrocos/in ... =4&lang=pt
It's in portuguese, but the map should appear on the bottom of the article.
Thanks in advance.
Marco

Re: Map not showing
I can't see my map in an article, too.
I installed Plugin and Component, my map and markers name have no special characters in it.
But, I get a javascript error (with firebug) saying:
tstPhocaMap is null
tstPhocaMap.setAttribute("oldValue",0);
Look here: http://neue.pension-windrose.de/index.p ... 1&Itemid=2
What does it mean and how can I solve the problem?!
thx
johnny

Re: Map not showing
I am also having this problem. I am using PHP 4.4.9 and cannot upgrade (not my server). I verified that both the plugin and the component are 1.1.0.
It looks like the plugin is creating a map div with an id of phocaMapPlgPM1, but the javascript is trying to just phocamaps in the getelementbyid to initialize the map....
Could the upload zip file for the plugin have accidentally been the wrong one?
