How to choose content of phoca home page

Hello,

I use phoca v1.8.0 Alpha. On my gallery first home page, I'd like to see only high levels (level 1) categories folders (even if they are empty and contains only sub categories), then click on a folder to access it's sub categories. Is there a way to do that?

Also, is there a way to remove a picture from a specific category without deleting the picture, or moving a picture from one categorie to another?

- you cannot move the pictures, but you can add picture used in one category to another categories

- if you remove the picture from a category, the original is still on the disc and you can add in into another category...

- you can hide or display empty categories, see parameters:
