Hello,
When using the Random Image Module the parameter "module link" "link to all categories" option doesn't seem to work.
The error message I get is this:
View not found [name, type, prefix]: phocagallery, html, phocagalleryView
the URL it goes to is this http://lss.sau16.org/index.php/component/phocagallery/
I tried selecting all categories in the category ID box or just some. Neither works.
I just want it to go to the gallery top level
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you
April

Re: Module Link - Link to All categories not working
Hi,
I can`t find a menu link to Phoca Gallery Component (categories view) on your site. This can cause problems like 404 and perhaps (I`m not sure) 500 errors.
See: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... al-advices
If you don`t want to make this link visable, hide it.
See: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Benno

Re: Module Link - Link to All categories not working
Thank you for your help.
I thought I had a hidden menu link, but it was actually to an upper level single category. which is all I want users to see.
I guess if you want to use the param "all categories" you must use the "ALL categories" menu item.
That said could I pick your brain further, because I'm confused about how categories and subcategories work.
I have a parent category (empty) and use subcategories to organize the photos. I wanted to pull from the parent and all subcategories for the random image module and then click the image - link to the Parent category - not the subcategory that the specific image is in. Possible?
The reason I don't use ALL categories, is that I have other categories (for a slideshow, etc) that I don't want shown here.
But when I choose to pull from parent category in Random Image module - It tells me it's empty (it is, but it has subcategories?)
If I select parent and subcategories - I can't have a front-end user add a subcategory and have it automatically included in the module.
Any thoughts or insights would be helpful.
Thanks for your time.
