Hello,
I'm trying to load a kml-file into phoca-maps. I've tried a long time - without success. I've searched here in the forum, but all request to this topic has no answer for. I'm using Maps v 1.1.1 and the firefox browser, so this should be no problem...
Can someone tell me what to write into the "KML File"-Box? Only the filename, the whole url or something else?
Maybe I can solve this problem with the phoca-maps plugin, by using the attribute "kmlfile". But I have no idea, how to use it. How should this code look like?
- kmlfile=1
- kmlfile=yes
- kmlfile=folder/filename.kml
- kmlfile=folder/filename
- kmlfile=url
Sorry, Im sure this is a beginners question, but im trying for a few days, I've searched the the forum, the documentation and the internet... It would be very kind, if someone could help me here.
Kind regards

Re: How to add a KML-File
Dear All,
I am glad that many of you read my post "How to add a KML-File". But although it looks like many of you are using phoca maps it seems to me that none of you could tell me how to us it.
Is anybody of you using phoca maps? If so, can you please tell me how to use it or send me a link to a description how to solve my problem?
Thanks in advance and best regards,

Re: How to add a KML-File
Hi,
in plugin you will set:
kmlfile=1
This means, the kml will be enabled, the file will be taken from component settings.
See:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/53-phoca- ... phoca-maps (you didn't overlooked the article , I have written it yet )

Re: How to add a KML-File
Hi
In the new Phoca Maps version the kml file adding doesn't work! At the create New file can't choose the KML file type option as you wrote in the "Adding KML file in Phoca Maps" documentation.
It also doesn't work if I create a new map file, and I give the kml file name in the KML file field.
Thanks a lot

Re: How to add a KML-File
I had the same issue with loading a KML file i followed the doc that Jan has written but it doesn't seem to work. Initially i was trying to get around the fact that in my content box for the marker on the map the title was being displayed in a font that looked much too large. Any ideas how to get the title font to be smaller for the marker? By default the marker has to have a title in order to save so i couldn't just leave it blank and fill in the description which was a normal size text.
