It does not work

Post by Webbi »

Hello,

I have installed the component and plugin. The plugin is activated.

The problem is that it does not work. It seems that the Joomla PDF component is still used.

Using PHP5.

Has anybody an idea what is wrong?

Best regards

I'm having the same problem and would love to get an idea of what settings need to be adjusted. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the most savvy with this stuff so I'm sure the problem is something I'm doing (or not doing).

I've installed and activated the plug-in. Entered in some dummy info for the footer and header and it looks like the standard PDFs are still getting generated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The site is a test and I'm still working on the template layout so please pardon the mess you may or may not encounter when you visit:

Thanks for the reply.

I'm running what I believe to be the current versions for a Joomla 1.5 site. I downloaded them recently from the site:

1.0.9 for the plugin

1.0.6 for the content

Thanks again for your help with this.

Thank you for your help. I tried following your instructions with no success HOWEVER, I did a fresh install of joomla over to the final site and copied over the settings and everything seems to be working swimingly so there must have been something mucked up in the previous install.

I never did figure out what was causing the problem but it's fixed and taken care of so THANK YOU for your help! :D

Hi,
I tried your sugestions and unfortunately, it's still not working. The plug-in is enabled.
What you can try out yet for testing is, to switch off to all Modules and Plugins gradually to limit what is the cause for your problem.
Hope this helps.

Ah - you caught my post before I updated it! (I just wiped the old one because it wasn't up for very long)

The problem had something to do with that install. I'm sure I must have mucked something up because on the live site (which I got to start working with yesterday) it went in like a charm with no issues at all!

Thanks again for your help!
