Problem with uploading filenames with CAPITAL letters

thanks for a great gallery !
I got one problem and i hope you can help me. Its the frontend upload again...
Ive read all threads here (and there is alot of them) about frontend errors.

My error was: Error saving filename (got it in danish so not sure if its 100% correct translated)

Tried CHMOD, tried FTP-layer , nothing worked for me.. Just now i found the problem its CAPITAL letters in filename

If I upload
file.jpg its ok and the image is added to gallery and displayed on website
FILE.jpg Error saving filename
file.JPG Error saving filename
File.jpg Error saving filename

so, how do i fix it so users can upload whatever they like ?

Hi, download and upgrade to phocagallery 1.8.2 (stable) ... the problem should be fixed here...please let me know...
