problem with caregories on joomla 1.6

Hello.

I am having a problem with the categories on joomla 1.6. The problem is that if i choose the option to list all categories (List of Categories) the categories are not visible at all. I have categories with special access righ but i have categories tha are public. On the other hand the most viewed documents are visible.

Now if i choose to show articles from one category (List of Articles in Category) the category is shown as also the articles. This part is working just fine.

Could you please help me? I have read to another psot similar problem but no solution.

Hi, maybe I don't understand it correctly. But yes, if the user has no right to see the article, it is not listed in category view?
