Missing Folders

Hi Guys,
Hope this is a simple reply and I've not done something really silly!! My gallery should show a number of folders that I've set up and a number of images that are not in folders.

Today all the folders disappeared!! The filenames show the foldername and the image but I now have a very long list of image files instead of the neater folders. According to FTP the folders are still there and all the files are still there - I've just lost the neater display.

??? did you see the categories in Phoca Gallery - category.. or did you see some items in database - jos_phocagallery_categories table... ?

Hi Jan,
The folders appeared in the Gallery listing - the first 10 or so items were folders - which I had created using FTP - each folder contained a number of images. Now the folders have disappeared - but all the images are listed in the gallery listing and the filename shows the folder that the images used to be in. For example I used to have a folder called Salford Uni - this has disappeared, but all the individual files are listed like "Salford_Uni/P1010108.jpg"

Does this make sense?

yes, but the folders are not categories...

you can have e.g. category:

New
but the image in category New can be saved in folder:
Old, old/image.jpg

So do you mean folders or categories?
